- he’s a real problem solver. Eg he came up with a clever (equals cheap) solution to my leaky garage
- he’s flexible and can do a whole range of inside and outside jobs
- but he knows his limits and is clear about what he can and can’t do
- he works well and doesn’t waste time
- hiring him by the day for a series of small jobs can be very cost effective
- he charges a fair price
