Glass Pergola
Jon and Darren built a bespoke pergola for me with a glass roof. From start to finish they were professional, punctual and thorough. Their attention to detail was second to none and I was really impressed with how much care and attention went into getting the design right, with added finishing touches. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending these guys. Just one tip: they like ginger biscuits!

I feel very lucky to have found Jon. He has become invaluable to us and seems to tackle almost any problem we throw at him with the same enthusiasm and skill. So far he has immaculately and very quickly laid a faux wood floor, built a huge and very solid wooden plinth for my wife's art studio, boxed in some unsightly electrics in an outhouse, fixed a leaking gutter,

Internal Painting
Jon has completed work for us in just about every room in our house. He has undertaken a range of decorating tasks including stripping wallpaper; painting walls and ceilings; preparing and painting woodwork; measuring, cutting and fitting coving; and a multitude of other tasks. He is happy to take on the jobs I avoid such as designing and fitting an awkward shaped bath panel. Jon is trustworthy, professional and friendly, always arrives on time and provides accurate estimates. We have found Jon so helpful that we keep asking him to come back. He has done such a good job improving our house he is soon coming to help us transform our garden. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jon as the standard of work is always excellent and great value for money.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Jon for any work whether outside or inside the home. Jon has worked for me for a number of years on a variety of household jobs. He's thoroughly reliable and completely trustworthy. He gets on with his work in a determined and highly professional manner. He's tackled work for me including: repairing leaky guttering & down pipe; regular twice yearly hedge trimming; removing old roots and shrubs cleanly and tidily; taking down and disposing of old fencing plus measuring, arranging, purchasing & erecting new boundary fencing; leveling old tree stumps; taking apart and renewing garden decking; replacing garden shed windows as well as numerous other small jobs. He's upfront about costs and unfazed by job requests - he's entirely realistic as to the work entailed and will stick to his timetable. He's affable and nice and only requires an occasional cup of tea!!

Garden & House Maintenance
Jon has been working for us for over a year. In the summer he looks after our garden and in the winter he does some property maintenance for us. Jon is very reliable, punctual, and easy to deal with. He always checks in with us about what we want doing as well as making suggestions about how to do things. The quality of his work is good, whether it’s painting and decorating or hedge trimming and garden maintenance. I can’t recommend him too highly.

Garden Maintenance
We had some very overgrown leylandii trees at the front of our property that needed removing. This consisted of over 30 trees being cut down and stumps dug out. Jon was able to carry out this work for us within a week at a price we were happy with. He was always punctual, efficient and reliable and cleared away the resulting waste quickly. We have also used him for general garden maintenance and have been very happy with the service received. He is also very good and accommodating with my inquisitive, digger mad three year old!

We have used Goode and Handy three or four times so far this year for a wide range of jobs. From securing squeaking floorboards, installing velux and standard window blinds to carpentry work in the kitchen Jon has always done an excellent job.
